Dominic McGill played the opening Jets season with the club, backing up Charlie Colon. Charlie was one of the best netminders in the league and squeezing ice time from him was a tough ask meaning Dominic’s role was a tough ask. Dominic was a big goalie, he came to the Jets from Richmond, stayed a season and was back for a second season in 1990/91, again as the backup. Although he didn’t see much ice time he performed well when he did and was a great team player. Dominic iced 19 times for the Jets.
