Legends Day Tomorrow

Just a quick reminder, as the sun sets on the Slough Jets as well all know them, tomorrow (Saturday) the Jets legends will celebrate the club that Gary Stefan founded in 1986.

The day starts with a 3pm face-off at the Hangar when the legends will play a celebration exhibition game. With near on 60 players taking part there’s bound to be a favourite of everyone playing on the day.

Absolutely Ice are running a BBQ and there will be a beer tent also. We’ll have a cash raffle and we’ll have a very special shirt off his back too! 40 of the 60 jerseys will be auctioned at the rink also, starting at just £30 you can bid to own one (or more) of these one off jerseys! There’s also a chance to buy Mo19 merchandise including the new t-shirt and also to buy a signed copy of Paul Ferguson’s book, Killing The Dead.

Tickets for the game are just £10 for adults and £5 for children.

When the game finishes the cafe/bar and BBQ will keep running and then the party will re-start at the Copthorne Hotel in Slough/Windsor from 7pm. We’ll have an evening of food, auctions, raffles, celebrations and a chance to party with the legends.

Sadly meal tickets for the evening are no longer available however on a first come first served basis you can buy for just £10 a chance to come and celebrate the evening by joining the party after the food has been enjoyed and still take part in the auctions, raffles and partying.

Come to the Hangar tomorrow, get a fantastic summer hockey fix, say goodbye to the Slough Jets as we know them and don’t forget you’ll be doing your bit for charity too. We’re raising money for SPICE and the Lymphoma Association so you can do a good deed while having a good day!

See you tomorrow (Saturday) at the Hangar. Doors open at 2pm
